Kenshiro Abbe Brochure

Henry Ellis would like to thank Mr Gerrard Gyngel Sensei for allowing British Aikido to reproduce this rare document / brochure on this website. This brochure was prepared on the arrival of Abbe Sensei to Britain in 1955 to teach at the London Judo Society ( LJS ). Gyngell Sensei studied with Abbe Sensei, later becoming the 3 time Welsh Judo Champion. He was also proud to be a member of Abbe Sensei's Olympic Team. Gyngel Sensei also saw Abbe Sensei demonstrate Aikido in 1955.
